As an experienced Human Resources professional, Josette has over 17 years of experience working for organizations in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction), renewable energy, semiconductor manufacturing and facilities services industries. Her main focus are, employee relations, talent acquisition & strategy, employee engagement, training and development, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance.
She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and currently holds an MBA with a concentration in Human Resources Management and a certificate degree in Energy & Sustainability from Franklin Pierce University. She currently holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SC)) certifications.

Estey Masten (she/her/hers) is a Senior Community Engagement Specialist for HDR's Boston architecture studio. She brings over 15 years of experience in marketing, business development, strategy, and journalism. Estey firmly believes in the power of mentorship to elevate careers in the AEC (architecture, engineering, and construction) industry, especially for women, trans and nonbinary folks, and other minorities. As a Senior Community Engagement Specialist for HDR’s Boston architecture studio, her focus is on enhancing the development of client relationships and work-winning in all sectors of architecture represented here locally - transportation, higher education, science, civic, justice and health architecture. She supports a local team of 7 Principals and over 35 architects, interior designers, and planners in the Boston HDR architecture studio, and collaborates with a matrix of over 13,000 HDR employees worldwide. She holds many ongoing leadership roles at organizations in the built environment industry in New England, including chairing the Emerging Professionals Committee at the Massachusetts Building Congress.
